Baseball Writing
Heather-Rose fell in love with the Mets as a child While she still follows their fortunes, she has also become a Red Sox fan by marriage. Her baseball writings have been published in the magazines Fan, Elysian Fields Quarterly, and the Baseball Annual, appearing under Heather-Rose's previous surname of Henderson.
She is currently writing a baseball novel. An excerpt from the work-in-progress was included in the anthology Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend: Women Writers on Baseball, edited by Elinor Nauen.
