portraitpage.jpgHeather-Rose grew up in midtown Manhattan. She graduated from St. George's School in Newport, Rhode Island. In 1984 she received a B.A. in English from Bryn Mawr College.

Since then she has used her writing and editing skills in business -- working for a publishing house, an investment banking firm, and a software development company -- and in academia, where she assisted such notable professors as Dr. B.L. For the past few years she has been a full-time freelance writer working primarily on her own projects.

In addition to her writing work, she is a Usui and Shamballa Reiki Master, a shamanic healing practitioner, a Tarot reader, and a teacher of metaphysics and spiritual/psychic development.  Information on her metaphysical consulting services can be found on her website Mysterious Mountain.  For information on her Tarot offerings and online ordering of readings, please visit her website Tarot Enlightenment.

Heather-Rose lives in the White Mountains of New Hampshire with her husband, who is a general surgeon, and their seven-year-old son.
